NextStars and Wellx Sign MOU to Bring Prevention First Workplace Health Solutions to Canada
Partnership bridges MENA innovation with Canadian group benefits market

NextStars, a leading Canadian venture studio and accelerator specializing in cross border innovation, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Wellx, a MENA based workplace health company transforming how employers and insurers deliver continuous, inclusive care.
The partnership will support Wellx’s expansion into the Canadian market, bringing its prevention first healthcare model to Canadian employers, insurers, and group benefits providers.
Wellx has established itself as a trusted partner for leading insurance organizations across the Gulf region, including Al Rajhi Takaful, Qatar Insurance Company, and Liva Group. The company’s whole person approach to workplace health addresses critical gaps in continuity of care while reducing downstream costs for employers and insurers.
